Video Power aired from 1990 to 1992 and began as an animated series featuring The Power Team, a group of heroes based on Acclaim video game characters. With 33 episodes, the show combined video game promotion with high-energy action and light comedy, appealing to NES-era gamers. The first season focused on animated storytelling before the show switched to a live-action game show format in its second season. This animated run remains a unique part of video game and Saturday morning cartoon history.
