80's Music Videos Volume 1 and 2 is a 12-disc compilation of 347 music videos pulled from VH1 Classic broadcasts, spanning roughly 1979 through the early 1990s and covering everything that defined MTV's first decade. The Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star" opens Disc 1 and sets the historical frame. From there, the box set tours the era's full range, from synth-pop to new wave to hair metal to early alternative crossovers.
