BattleTech: The Animated Series is the mid-90s adaptation of the long-running BattleTech tabletop and video-game franchise, set in a vast, war-torn far-future inhabited by huge piloted BattleMechs and the Inner Sphere's competing political houses. The show aired across Fox and The WB in 1994 and 1995, with 13 episodes that cover the early stages of the Clan Invasion storyline, the same arc that the tabletop and novel lines were building out at the time.
