Blake and Mortimer is the late-90s European animated adaptation of the classic Edgar P. Jacobs Belgian comic series, in which Captain Francis Blake of MI5 and his close friend Professor Philip Mortimer travel the world investigating archeological mysteries, scientific conspiracies, and ancient enigmas that pull them into something larger every time. The series first aired across France 3, RTBF, and the BBC from 1997 into 1998, with 13 episodes that adapt directly from individual albums in the original comic line.
