Cousin Skeeter aired on Nickelodeon across the back end of the 1990s and into the early 2000s, a live-action sitcom that combined human child cast members with a puppet co-star to deliver its central premise. The series followed Bobby Wheeler, a regular middle-school student, and his outrageously confident puppet cousin Skeeter, who came to live with him and constantly disrupted his school and home life with elaborate schemes and trouble-making. The combination of live-action and puppetry gave the show a distinctive visual register among 1990s teen-targeted programming.
