Despicable Me 3 continues the long-running Illumination animated franchise, returning to the reformed supervillain Gru as he discovers a long-lost identical twin brother named Dru who has spent their separation pursuing the family's traditional supervillain career and now wants Gru to come back into the family business for one last heist. With his wife Lucy, his three adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, and his army of yellow Minions all involved in the resulting chaos, Gru must contend with both his past and the new villain Balthazar Bratt who wants to relive his cancelled childhood TV-show fame. The film plays as a feature-length CGI animated comedy.
