Summary: Famous 5: On the Case (2008- ). This animated series is based on the "Famous Five" children's book series by Enid Blyton and subsequent animated series of the same name. It follows the exploits of the children of the original Famous Five. Members of this new and younger quintet Max, Dylan, Jo, Allie and canine companion Timmy go on adventures and try to solve mysteries as their parents did. But the kids have an advantage that the former generation did not: the use of modern technology like laptops and mobile phones, which hadn't been invented when their parents investigated mysteries.
