Firebreather adapts the Image Comics series of the same name into an animated movie following Duncan Rosenblatt, a teenage half-human half-kaiju who navigates ordinary high school life by day while struggling to control the immense draconic power he inherited from his absent father, a giant monster who rules over a hidden world of his own kind. The film plays as a feature-length CGI animated adventure, with each act layering Duncan's high-school stakes against the larger destiny calling him toward acceptance of his true identity.
