Here Comes the Grump is the late-1960s Hanna-Barbera animated series about Princess Dawn and her young Earth-boy companion Terry, who travel through a rainbow-colored fantasy realm in search of the Crystal Key that can break the Curse of Gloom that the Grump, a perpetually-frustrated wizard who rides his pet purple-and-yellow dragon, has cast on the magical kingdom. The show ran on NBC across 1969 and 1970 with episodes that pair classic fantasy-quest plotting with the kind of whimsical-pastiche worldbuilding the era favored.
