Hoppity Hooper is the mid-1960s ABC and NBC animated series produced by Jay Ward Productions, the same studio behind Rocky and Bullwinkle. The show ran starting in 1964 with a 27-episode run that builds the small town of Foggy Bog around the title frog character Hoppity Hooper, his uncle Waldo P. Wigglesworth, and the bear Fillmore. The format pairs the studio's signature pun-driven humor and chapter-style serialized storytelling with the kind of fast-paced wit that defined Jay Ward's approach to children's animation.
