I Got a Rocket! is the mid-2000s Australian-Canadian animated comedy about Vinnie, a young boy whose new best friend turns out to be a sentient, talking rocket from space, with a perpetually-cheerful attitude and a complete inability to follow simple Earth instructions, while Vinnie tries to navigate ordinary suburban life with a literal rocket as his sidekick. The show ran across Nicktoons and Network Ten through 2006 and 2007, with 26 episodes that pair grounded suburban-comedy plotting with the show's specific rocket-best-friend premise.
