Jay Jay the Jet Plane is the long-running late-1990s and early-2000s preschool series about Jay Jay, a small cheerful jet plane who lives at Tarrytown Airport with his fellow plane and vehicle friends, including Big Jake the four-engine plane, Tracy the helicopter, Snuffy the airplane, and Tuffy the tow truck. The show ran across The Learning Channel, PBS, and Smile from 1998 onward, with episodes that pair gentle preschool plotting with the show's specific aviation-and-airport worldbuilding.
