Maisy is the late-1990s and early-2000s British animated preschool series adapted from Lucy Cousins' beloved Maisy picture-book series, in which the cheerful little white mouse Maisy goes about her quiet daily life with her small circle of animal friends, including Tallulah the chicken, Cyril the squirrel, Charley the alligator, and Eddie the elephant. The show ran across Nick Jr., Noggin, and Universal Kids from 1999 into 2002, with 26 episodes that pair gentle preschool storytelling with the source picture-book's specific simple-and-warm visual style.
