Mars Needs Moms follows nine-year-old Milo, a kid who never quite appreciates his mother until the night he wakes up to find Martian aliens kidnapping her, having decided that human moms have the perfect parenting skills they want to extract for raising the Martian young. Milo stows away on the spacecraft and arrives on Mars where he must navigate the underground city, ally with the wisecracking human survivor Gribble who has lived there in hiding, and rescue his mother before the Martians extract everything she has and leave her trapped on their planet forever. The film plays as a feature-length motion-capture CGI adventure.
