Megamind is a 2010 animated feature that flips the standard superhero setup on its head, asking what happens when the lifelong supervillain finally wins and discovers he has nothing left to do. With voice work from Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill, and Brad Pitt, the film leans into comic delivery and earnest character development in equal measure, treating its blue-skinned protagonist as both punchline and surprisingly sincere center of gravity.
