Pelswick is the early-2000s Canadian animated comedy about Pelswick Eggert, a thirteen-year-old boy who uses a wheelchair and navigates middle school, family life, and friendships much like any other kid, with his guardian-angel-like advisor Mr. Jimmy occasionally chiming in with encouragement. The show ran across CBC, Teletoon, and Nickelodeon from 2000 into 2002, with 26 episodes that pair grounded teen-comedy plotting with the kind of warm character work the source material always carried.
