Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is the 2010 Cartoon Network reboot that took the mystery-of-the-week formula and built a continuing narrative arc on top of it. The series brought Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby back to a single location (the cursed town of Crystal Cove) and stitched the standalone mysteries into a larger conspiracy that paid off across two seasons and 52 episodes. The result is the rare reboot that satisfies both casual viewers and the kind of older Scooby-Doo fan who can quote scenes from the original.

What makes the show distinct is its willingness to push the franchise into territory no previous Scooby-Doo property had tried. The serialized arc treats character relationships with weight, including a romance between Fred and Daphne that plays out across an entire season. "The Night The Clown Cried" and its sequel "The Night The Clown Cried II: Tears Of Doom!" lean into psychological horror more openly than the source material had ever permitted. "When The Cicada Calls" closes Season 1 with one of the most genuinely surprising reveals in Scooby-Doo history. "Through The Curtain" and the series finale "Come Undone" deliver the kind of conclusion the franchise had never attempted.
