Sidekick is the early-2010s Canadian animated comedy about Eric Needles, a sidekick-in-training at the Sidekick Academy where the world's hero-trainees learn the trade alongside their famous superhero mentors, while Eric secretly serves as the sidekick of the world's most famous hero, Maxum Man, even though Maxum Man has been missing for months and Eric is the only one who knows. The show ran across YTV in Canada and Cartoon Network in the US from 2010 into 2013, with 48 episodes across the run.
