Sky Commanders is the late-1980s Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning syndicated animated series set on the High Frontier, a stylized post-disaster mountain region where two paramilitary teams fight for control of the cable-and-zip-line networks that span the mountainous terrain. The show ran on ABC in 1987 with later airings on Cartoon Network giving it a longer second life, and totals 13 episodes built around the toy-line-friendly aerial-warfare premise.
