Terrahawks brings the Gerry Anderson supermarionation tradition into a contemporary 1980s science-fiction setting, following the Earth-based defense team known as the Terrahawks who pilot various advanced spacecraft to defend the planet from the alien threat posed by the perpetually-scheming Zelda and her army of androids and clones. The team includes their commander Tiger Ninestein, the perpetually-cheerful Captain Mary Falconer, the technical officer Lieutenant Hawkeye, and their wider operational support team. The show plays as a foundational ITV animated puppet-and-model series across multiple seasons.
