The Dinosaurs! PBS Complete 1-Disc Box Set DVD

The Dinosaurs! arrived on PBS in 1992 as a four-part documentary series that surveyed the prehistoric world for general public-television audiences. The series organized its episodes around the great themes of paleontology: the rise of the dinosaurs, the science of reconstructing them from skeletal remains, the behavior and ecology of the living animals, and the catastrophic end of the Cretaceous. Each hour combined location shooting at fossil sites, interviews with working scientists, and the animation and art reconstructions of the period.
