The Dreamstone is the early-1990s British animated fantasy series from creators Mike Jupp and Martin Gates, set in a world where the wizard Rufus and his apprentice Amberley protect the title gemstone (the source of all good dreams) from the constant threat of the Argorrible-led Urpneys, who serve the dark Lord Zordrak. The series aired on ITV, The Children's Channel, and Nickelodeon across 1990 through 1995, with a 44-episode run.
