The Life & Times of Tim follows the slow-motion social disasters of Tim, an ordinary office worker in New York City who keeps getting caught in the worst possible situations through some combination of misunderstanding, bad timing, and his utter inability to push back when a moment calls for it. Each episode pairs two stories, with Tim shuffling through workplaces, bars, dates, and family gatherings as the people around him assume the worst and never give him a chance to explain.
