The Little Lulu Show is the mid-90s HBO animated series adapted from Marjorie Henderson Buell's classic Little Lulu newspaper-strip and comic-book character, in which the curly-haired, level-headed Lulu Moppet navigates her small-town neighborhood, her exasperating frenemy Tubby Tompkins, and the no-girls-allowed politics of the local boys' clubhouse. The show ran across HBO, Family Channel, and Cartoon Network across 1995, 1996, and 1998, with each half-hour packing three short stories drawn directly from the original comic-book canon.
