The Perils of Penelope Pitstop is the late-1960s Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning series spun off from Wacky Races, in which the heiress race-car driver Penelope Pitstop keeps falling into elaborate peril and being rescued by her devoted Ant Hill Mob associates while the villainous Sylvester Sneekly (in his Hooded Claw guise) tries to do her in. The series aired on CBS across 1969 and 1970, and later resurfaced on Cartoon Network and Boomerang.
