The Why Why? Family aired on France 3, TF1, and the Fox Family Channel across the second half of the 1990s, a French-led animated educational series built around a family whose youngest member's endless curiosity drove each episode into short, fact-filled investigations of how everyday things work. The premise gathered together five different topics per episode, ranging from CDs and submarines to seasons and digestion, and used the family setting to deliver the explanations through small-scale storytelling rather than lecture.
