Thundercats 2011 reimagines the classic franchise with darker, more serial storytelling, following the young prince Lion-O of the cat-people kingdom of Thundera as he must flee his fallen homeland and assemble a new band of Thundercat allies to stop the lizard general Mumm-Ra from claiming the legendary stones of power. Together with his adopted brother Tygra, the rogue thief Cheetara, and the young Thunderkittens Wilykat and Wilykit, Lion-O quests across a transformed world where ancient technology and pure magic exist side by side.
