Toxic Crusaders is the early-1990s American animated series adapted from the Troma Films cult-cinema property The Toxic Avenger, recasting the schlock-horror anti-hero as the friendly leader of a team of mutated environmental superheroes who fight pollution and its corporate villains in Tromaville. The series aired on Fox and USA Network in 1991, with a tightly written 13-episode run plus a tie-in movie.
