Under the Umbrella Tree is the long-running Canadian preschool series that ran on CBC and the Disney Channel from 1986 into the early 1990s, in which a young woman named Holly shares her home with three small puppet roommates, Iggy the iguana, Jacob the bluejay, and Gloria the gopher, all of whom live among the leaves of a giant indoor umbrella tree in her living room. The show built one of the longest-running preschool runs in Canadian broadcast history across nearly a decade.
