Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light aired in syndication in 1987, a single-season animated series built around a Hasbro toy line that combined elements of medieval fantasy with science-fiction technology. The premise placed two opposing factions, the heroic Spectral Knights and the villainous Darkling Lords, against each other on the planet Prysmos, where a sudden return of magic had rendered all advanced technology useless and forced both sides to harness magical animal-spirit transformations to wage their conflicts.
