Walking with Beasts is the 2001 BBC and Discovery Channel CGI documentary series that follows the rise of mammals across the 65 million years after the dinosaurs went extinct, using the same photorealistic CGI-creature techniques the production team had developed for the earlier Walking with Dinosaurs. The series ran across BBC and Discovery Channel through 2001, with 6 self-contained episodes that each cover a different prehistoric era and the apex creatures of that period.
