Wild Kratts Volume 1, 2, 3 17-Disc Box Set DVD
Wild Kratts aired on PBS Kids across the early-to-mid 2010s and beyond, an animated educational series produced by Chris and Martin Kratt that combined live-action segments featuring the brothers with animated adventures of their cartoon counterparts. The premise placed the animated Kratt brothers in field-research adventures around the world, with each episode focused on a particular animal species and the brothers' use of their fictional Creature Power Suits to learn about and help the creatures they encountered.
What stands out is the show's deeply intentional educational structure. Where many children's nature programming stayed at the surface, this one structured each episode around a particular animal's biology, behavior, and ecology, treating the science as central to the storytelling rather than as background detail.
