Wolverine: Origin is the early-2000s short-format animated adaptation of the landmark Marvel Comics miniseries that finally told the long-secret backstory of the X-Men's most popular member, tracing his life from his sickly Canadian boyhood as James Howlett through the events that turned him into the mutant warrior the comics had been hinting at for decades. The animated take was produced in the orbit of Madhouse and aired on G4 across 2001 and 2002.
