Word Party arrived on Netflix across the back half of the 2010s and into 2020, an animated preschool series produced by the Jim Henson Company that built around four small baby animal characters, Bailey the panda, Franny the cheetah, Lulu the elephant, and Kip the wallaby, who learned new words and concepts through music, songs, and gentle interactive storytelling. The premise placed the babies at the center of each episode, with their daily play and the show's trademark interactive structure, in which the babies frequently asked viewers at home to help them with their wordplay, providing the storytelling framework.
