Young Robin Hood is the early-1990s CBS animated series that took the legendary outlaw of Sherwood Forest and reimagined him as a teenage version of the character at the start of his hero's journey. The show ran on CBS Saturday mornings starting in 1991, with a 26-episode run that builds out Robin's early adventures alongside the familiar supporting cast (Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian) before the legend was fully formed. The format uses each episode to develop a different aspect of Sherwood Forest life, with the Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John as recurring antagonists.
